I have a very old Super Star grinder that has served me quite well for over three decades, although I did have to replace a motor in it. The Super Star came with an excellent metal fence for trimming straight glass pieces. It has started making worrisome noises, and I do not want to lose the excellent functionality of its metal fence. I adapted my G8 All-Star grinder’s grid to the metal fence, and it works just fine. When the opportunity came to purchase a new Super Star II grinder, I was most pleased to discover Glass House had one. The price was “reasonably a little high,” but since the grinders are no longer made, I was relieved to have a backup for my studio. The packing and service were excellent, and I would highly recommend Glass House.
